Koushani Datta 04 — Mycelium ← All work
A logo that grows

The wordmark spreads like mycelium threads, then settles.

Case study

Takeaway packaging grown from fungi, chosen in one tap.

RoleBrand & packaging designer
DeliverablesMaterial story, packaging range, delivery-app integration
01Challenge

Rethink takeaway packaging for a plastic-free delivery future.

02Insight

People want greener packaging, but won’t go out of their way to choose it.

03Idea

Make mycelium the default: a one-tap packaging option inside the delivery apps people already use.

04Outcome

A packaging range, identity and an Uber Eats ordering flow with a WWF donation toggle.

Brand story

The future is mycelium made.

Mycelium is the root network of fungi, the stuff most people see as mould, rot and dirt. Myceliyum shows it is one of the most useful materials we have.

Grown on farm waste, it is moulded into takeaway boxes in days, holds a hot meal, and goes back to the soil in about six weeks. Plastic stays for centuries.

From nature, for the future.
